Orange Shirt Day serves as a time to acknowledge and contemplate the heartbreaking history and enduring impact of residential schools. It is a day to honor the Survivors and to remember the children who never made it home.
We respectfully acknowledge that South Central Regional Branches are located on Treaty One Territory: Original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples and the homeland of the Metis Nations.
