Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling
a book review Kaylee from the Altona branch!
This book is about a boy named Harry who finds out that he is a wizard. He goes to the best school for witchcraft and wizadry called Hogwarts, where he learns about potions and spells, and discovers the truth behind his parent's death. Along the way, he makes new friends, breaks the rules and figures out how to save the world from a dark power.
I love how J.K. Rowling's writing makes you picture every detail. The Adventures of Harry and his friends are so detailed and interesting. It's such a strong start to an amazing series, which makes it impossible to put down. Once you read "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", you'll want to read the rest of the series immediately.
