Nothing More to Tell

Nothing More to Tell by Karen M. McManus

A Book Review by Charlize from the Miami Branch

It's been four years since Brynn Gallagher left St. Ambrose School after the horrifying murder of her teacher Mr. Larkin, whose corpse was found by three students on school grounds. Now Brynn has returned to her hometown and has just landed an internship with a true crime show. When Brynn takes the lead on an underground investigation into Mr. Larkin's murder, she finds herself involved with ex-best friend Tripp, who appears to be hiding something. As the investigation intensifies and friends, family, and herself become at risk, Brynn quickly realizes she must dig up more truths than she bargained for to solve the murder.

I found "Nothing More to Tell" to be a fast paced and light read. I enjoyed it and the mystery kept me guessing. However, having read some of McManus's other books, I find that she seems to reuse character tropes. That being said, it was a well-done whodunnit and I would recommend it to fans off teen mysteries.
