Six of Crows

 By Leigh Bardugo

Young Adult Fiction

Reviewed by Charlize from the Miami branch.

The best thief in Ketterdam, Kaz Brekker, gathers an unlikely gang to perform a heist on the most impenetrable building complex in the world-The Ice Court of Fjerda.

This book has plenty of action, adventure, twists and turns, along with characters you can't help but love (and some you may despise).  It is fast-paced and perfect for fans of the Ocean's 11 movies.  Leigh Bardugo keeps you guessing until the end.  Don't miss the equally thrilling sequel, Crooked Kingdom.

Please note that the Six of Crows duology is part of Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse and comes chronologically after the Shadow and Bone trilogy.  Although you could read Six of Crows first, I would highly recommend you read the Shadow and Bone trilogy before delving into this one.
