Unbroken is the true, traumatic and riveting story of Olympian and U.S. Air Force lieutenant Louis Zamperini. As an Olympic long distance runner, Louis knew the power of endurance and strength. Louis enlisted in the U.S. Air Force to help with the WW II effort. While on a mission, his plane was shot down over the ocean and he miraculously survived 47 harrowing days at sea. He was discovered by the Japanese and was placed in a Japanese P.O.W. camp. He stayed here for over two years, and was the subject of torture and hard labor.
Drawn to stories of human endurance, Unbroken just keeps giving. Some parts are so unbelievable you feel what he's gone through in your very being.
