This junior non-fiction book tells the story of Christ's birth in a way that is easy to understand. The illustrations tell the story of a group of spirited children preparing for their annual Christmas play in their rural village. The book also incorporates Christmas carols throughout the story that include both the notes and words for the songs.
The Christmas Pageant is a book that families can enjoy and will help them celebrate the true meaning of the holiday. We have used it at our family gatherings and it is one that never grows old.
