Someone Is Always Watching
Someone Is Always Watching by Kelley Armstrong
a book review by Rachael from the Altona Branch
Bliss and her friends meet when they are around 10 years old, as all their parents move to their small town to work for a new research facility. The children attend a private school in town and form tight knit groups relatively quickly. Now seniors in high school, a rift forms between Bliss and Tucker over an incident that happened earlier in the year and their closely connected group starts to form cracks. Gabrielle sets the group on a course to dig up buried secrets and find out the truth about their past and their parents' involvement.
I liked that this was a fast-paced novel, and from the very first sentence I was hooked. Bliss and Tucker are the central characters and they have a unique ability to hyold your attention and make you want to find out more. This book offers lots of twists and turns and most people will not see the ending comin. Kelley Armstrong also writes adult fiction and if you like this book you will want to check out her Rockton series (also previously reviewed on Novel Experiences).
