Stacey's Extraordinary Words is a story about a shy, smart girl named Stacey.  She loves words but struggles to stand up for herself and her classmates that are being bullied by a boy named Jake.

When their teacher nominates both Stacey and Jake to compete in a spelling bee, Stacey is nervous but realizes that this is her chance to be brave.  Will she win and finally show Jake that "words are a gift that shouldn't be used to hurt people"?

My children and I loved reading this book together! We learned some new words and had fun trying to find ways to use them throughout our day.
